I have lived in New Plymouth most of my life and cannot imagine living anywhere else. I believe Taranaki provides a unique environment for families to grow and prosper. I am proud to be a part of the Taranaki region and culture. My partner and I operate a successful property maintenance business from our home, which we are currently renovating. I enjoy spending my spare time with my daughters. 

My youngest is studying to be a teacher with Massey University while my eldest is a teacher at Welbourn Primary. I feel very fortunate to be able to give back to a cause which has affected our lives, by being the Chairperson of The Child Cancer Foundation – Taranaki Branch and Deputy Chairperson for Central Region New Zealand.
