A seasoned salesperson, Frank joined Barker Business Brokerage after 21 years with Telecom New Zealand. His work experience included working alongside various high-end corporate companies, both nationally and internationally and the specialist knowledge he gained led him to focus on selling businesses in the medium to upper end of the market. While his key specialisation is with Aged Care and Telecommunications businesses, he has secured opportunities across a broad spectrum of business categories and always looks forward to representing new ventures.Frank specialises in selling businesses for $10 million plus; recently selling a business in the $10 - $20 million bracket. These businesses generally have a 12+ months sales period based on the negotiation and due diligence process. Confidentiality is usually paramount for businesses of this stature and if a business requires full anonymity, Frank will not take the business to market through traditional channels; he will simply approach his domestic and international network of contacts directly to ensure full confidentiality is maintained for his client.Frank sees his primary role as assisting owners of private and publically listed businesses, and those future business owners throughout the sale and purchase process. He will provide an appraisal on the value of the business, instigate marketing across a variety of different avenues, handle the potential buyer interviews, facilitate the due diligence investigation; to achieve a sale and obtain the best price possible on today’s market. The key lesson Frank has learned about being successful in the business world is to establish and open and honest relationship with his clients.
